How to get the school district to make school uniforms mandatory?
Every parent I talk to would rather have uniforms than “street clothes” but how do we get other school district to agree & make it happen? Go to the PTA? Petition the school board
Start with your local school and contact the principal. He can send a survey home to the parents and if more than 65% agree, the school can considering trying it out. Once you can prove what a great benefit it is, you can lobby the district to implement it districtwide. This is a very divisive issue and you will get a lot of negative views. It can be done. Do a search on the internet for districts who do have a districtwide policy and contact them about how it got implemented.
